Queues and streaming

15 services

Queue and streaming free tiers count messages or operations per month, and often cap connections, queues and message size as well. Amazon SQS includes 1M requests and Amazon SNS 1M publishes a month; SQS counts each receive call, including empty polls, so long polling stretches the allowance. Cloudflare Queues allows 1M operations a month. CloudAMQP hosts RabbitMQ with 1M messages a month, 20 concurrent connections and 100 queues. Azure Service Bus is a 12-month offer, not a permanent tier.

For IoT and MQTT, HiveMQ connects up to 100 devices and EMQX Serverless includes 1M session minutes a month, both without a card. For streams, ntail.io offers Kafka-compatible topics, 10 of them, at 200 KiB/s of ingress, and synadia.com runs managed NATS with 5 GB of data a month, 50 connections and a 4 KB maximum message size. Inngest and Estuary fit when the goal is background jobs or change data capture rather than raw messaging.
